Managing a Module Import

Module Developers
A Module Developer license and Area access is required.
Module import is used to import individual module XML files or a module package ZIP file.
To Import:
- Click Upload File and select the XML or ZIP file to Import.

(Optional) Click the View Changes link to generate a report of the things that are going to change after the import.
- Reconcile any Import changes on the Changes grid.
- Click Import to start the Import Process.
When an Import is run for a module that already exists in the target area, the module is first deleted before importing the updated version, and cached data is purged to ensure no orphaned metadata exists. The module is then compiled, and views are regenerated, the results of the import will update on the screen automatically showing results per module and for the entire process.
