DevonWay 2024 US/EU/Canada Production and UAT SSL/TLS Certificate Update

Config UAT/Build/Test Area Changes

On the evening of Thursday February 8, we will update the US/EU/Canada Config UAT/Build/Test environments with a new SSL/TLS certificate since our current certificate is set to expire soon. We will install the same certificate in Production on February 15. If you have web service interfaces that you may have downloaded the current certificate into, you should seek to test them in Config UAT after next Thursday and make preparations for the Production update on February 15.

Production Area Changes

As mentioned above, on the evening of Thursday February 15, we will be installing a new SSL/TLS US/EU/Canada Production secure certificate. This should have no impact to end-users or browsers, but if you imported our current certificate into your web services interface application, you may need to import the new certificate after the maintenance.

Reminder

As a reminder, on the evening of Thursday February 15, we will be installing a new SSL/TLS US/EU/Canada Production secure certificate. This should have no impact to end-users or browsers, but if you imported our current certificate into your web services interface application, you may need to import the new certificate into your interface application. Reference the prior blog post for additional details.

Maintenance

Note these upcoming maintenance events, which we anticipate will have no impact on system behavior:

• On the evening of Thursday, February 15 we will be performing routine maintenance to redundant back-end storage systems.
• Between Tuesday, February 20, and Thursday, February 22, we plan to perform no-downtime software maintenance on redundant US Production servers.

No-downtime US Production Update (2.58.1) Thursday, February 22, 2024

Notice

We are planning a no-downtime update of US Production on the evening of Thursday, February 22. You can review these release notes for an overview of the changes. 

Action

Please report any unexpected behavior that you notice in your US Config (Build, Test, and UAT) areas, which we plan to update with this new 2.58.1 version on Friday, February 16. (We will postpone the Production update if we're not confident in its quality.)

Maintenance

DevonWay Mobile v1.38.1 (iOS)

Please note that an updated version (v1.38.1) of the DevonWay iOS mobile app will be available in the App Store on the evening of Thursday, February 29, and should make its way to devices soon after that time.

This update contains fixes for a few issues found in the v1.38 iOS release, including some cases where attribute ratings on observations may not get properly propagated to the desktop application record. If necessary, please reach out to a DevonWay representative to discuss the potential impacts to your iOS mobile observations.
