Overview
The user interface (UI) improves usability by providing a consistent experience across the platform. This helps reduce confusion and supports more efficient workflows.
The following features and tips can help you navigate the platform more effectively and complete assignments and tasks with greater accuracy.
Browser bookmarks
Use browser bookmarks to quickly access frequently used content. Using your browser's bookmark manager, you can create and organize folders to meet your specific needs. Bookmarks can be stored directly on a browser bar, folder or desktop.
Browser bookmarks can be created for:
- Reports: list, grid, calendar and BI reports
- Objets: condition reports, corrective actions, assessments and others
- Dashboards: home or other dashboards
- "Create New" links: incidents, observations, inspections, actions and others
To create a bookmark, drag a link to your browser bar, a browser folder or your desktop. Links can be dragged from:
- My Assignments
- My Submissions
- Recent
- List and grid report results
You can also create a bookmark while viewing an object or report.
- Click the object or report URL.
- Hold Ctrl and drag the URL to a browser bar, folder. or desktop.
- Hover over the folder until it expands.
- Drag the URL to the desired location and release the mouse button.
To bookmark a Create New shortcut, click + Create New, open the desired module, and then save the page URL as a bookmark.
Viewing your browser history
Click and hold the browser's Back button to view recently visited pages and navigate directly to one of them.
Opening objects in a new tab
There are two ways to quickly open an item in a new tab:
- Right-click a browser tab and select Duplicate.
- Hold Ctrl while selecting the item link.
Accessing dashboards
You can create multiple dashboards, each containing one or more components or reports. You can switch between dashboards by:
- Click the dashboard icon and select the desired dashboard.
- Click a browser bookmark linked to the dashboard.
- Click the pinned dashboard icon.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow or Ctrl + Shift + Down Arrow to move between dashboards.
Expanding text boxes
Large text fields can be expanded so you can view more content without opening a separate window. Drag the bottom edge of the field to resize it, or select See All.
Using the back arrow
When you navigate away from the home page, a back arrow appears on the left side of the toolbar. It functions similarly to your browser's Back button but is larger and easier to access. Selecting the back arrow closes the current object. If there are unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save them before leaving the page.
Tab counts
When a tab contains child-level module data displayed in a table or card stack, the tab name displays the number of object it contains. If a tab contains additional content or multiple child-level tables, a dot is displayed instead of a count.
