Working with classified information labels
Who is this article for?
Module Developers or Administrators who are interested in classifying information.
A Module Developer or an Area Administrative role is required.
In certain applications, it is essential to clearly indicate sensitive or classified information to ensure proper handling and awareness of the information.
To facilitate this, Module Developers can designate one specific common field per module as the Classified Information field. This designation plays a crucial role in how classified information is presented to users.
The Classified Information should be displayed prominently on the record screen where users with access can easily find or access it. When a classified information value is listed as reference data list the classified information options should be prominently listed and easy for users to search and find.
A visual distinction can also ensure that users can quickly recognize sensitive information amidst a potentially large volume of data for example, a Module Developers can configure a significance level rating to display in a text box, before the title of the object.
When this information is in a grid, the Classified Information can appear in one of the first few columns. This strategic placement ensures that users can access this critical information immediately, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions based on the data presented.
