No elevated permissions are required.
When errors such as Error loading screen appear or the processing indicator spins indefinitely while logging on or opening a screen, the images on the browsers site might be broken or the site is using an old-cached version of obsolete web files.
This can sometimes happen after a platform release, especially if the computer hasn't restarted the browser since the release.
We try to protect against this behavior, but some browsers are extremely aggressive with their caching.
This is easily solved by refreshing the browser cache using one of the following methods:
- Press
Ctrl-F5to do a hard refresh of the page - Press
Ctrl-Shift-Delto open the browser's cache-clearing menu screen (works in most browsers) - Or, follow the step-by-step instructions for a specific browser
