Enabling beta features
Who is this article for?
Enterprise or Decani Administrators and users who want to know about platform changes in the beta testing
No special access or permissions are required.
As part of the final phase of a platform feature release, users can enable beta features to preview and test changes before they are released to production.
If you encounter an issue an issue with using beta features, work with your Ideagen administrator to submit a support ticket. The ticket must include a:
- description of the issue
- confirmation that the Beta feature flag is enabled
- screenshot(s) to help describe the issue
Enabling beta features
To enable beta features:
- Open My Profile.
- Locate Enable BETA features.
- Toggle the setting to On.
Once enabled, you will see a visual indicator below your avatar.
As this setting is stored in your browser and not the database, you must enable it separately for each browser and platform area.
Note
Clearing your browser cache will reset the beta feature setting.
Important
Users who enable the beta feature are acknowledging that they may encounter issues related to platform changes.
Checking beta feature status
There are three statuses that can be assigned to a beta feature:
- Pending – In final internal testing and scheduled for beta release
- Enabled – Available for beta testing
- Updated – Updated since the initial beta release

Once a beta feature has been released or if a decision is made to cancel the release of a beta feature, the beta feature status history can be found under the Closed Beta Feature documentation.
Additional testing opportunities
