Users and Administrators seeking information on role in the Classic UI.

No elevated permissions are required.

Each environment can have up to three types of roles:

• Administrative - Standard roles available in all installations. These roles are typically used by Ideagen employees and customer administrators. Regular users do not need any of these roles. Note that many of the screens made available to users with administrative roles are potentially impactful, so they should only be assigned to users who have been trained.
• Subscriber - Roles that can grant rights to multiple applications/modules. These can be granted to both admins and regular users. User Access Control Administrators can view which modules are using a subscriber role by viewing the role in the Subscriber Roles screen.
• Module - Roles that apply to a single application/module. These can be granted to both admins and regular users. Module roles are being deprecated, being replaced with Subscriber roles.
