Getting started as a Module Developer
Who is this article for?
Administrators support with Ideagen EHSQ Enterprise or Decani.
Active Support package or Success Plan and a Module Developer license is required.
All applications are created and maintained using Module Builder, a browser-based environment for configuring fields, workflow, business rules, and more.
Module developers don't need to be programmers to use Module Builder, but they should be able to think logically about application structures and logic. If a module developer is familiar with writing Excel formulas and has basic knowledge of relational concepts like SQL joins, they are well on their way to becoming a Module Developer.
Module Development offers a range of tools to help with different module related tasks.
These tasks include importing existing modules into the system, exporting modules for use elsewhere, copying modules to create duplicates, creating new modules from scratch, modifying the content or structure of existing modules, and managing all aspects of modules to ensure they function correctly and efficiently. All of these functionalities are conveniently accessible through the Module Developer icon, which can be found on the left-hand toolbar of the interface.
The screen is divided into module categories which are created by module developers. The Module Development category stores shared tools.
