No-downtime Production Updates (2.61.1) starting Thursday, March 13, 2025, and Maintenance

Platform Update

We are planning no-downtime updates to deliver Platform release 2.61.1 to the following areas:

• US Production: Thursday, March 13
• US Government Cloud Production: Thursday, March 20
• Europe and Canada Production: Wednesday, March 26

You can review these release notes for an overview of the changes. 

Action

Please report any unexpected behavior that you notice in your US Config (Build, Test, and UAT) areas, which we plan to update with this new 2.61.1 version on Friday, March 7. (We will postpone the Production update if we're not confident in its quality.) This release will reach the European and Canadian Config areas on Wednesday, March 19.

Maintenance

• No-downtime software maintenance on US Production servers between Tuesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 20.
• Routine maintenance to redundant US Non-Production back-end storage systems, on Tuesday, March 11.
• Routine maintenance to redundant US Production back-end storage systems, on Tuesday, March 18.
• No-downtime software maintenance on European and Canadian servers as outlined in the Maintenance Schedule.

No-downtime Production Maintenance starting Wednesday, March 19, 2025

We're providing a slight update to the Maintenance schedule that was reported in our 2.61.1 release blog post.

Maintenance

• No-downtime software maintenance on US Production servers between Wednesday, March 19, and Thursday, March 20.
• No-downtime software maintenance on US Production servers on Tuesday, March 25.
• No-downtime software maintenance on European and Canadian servers as outlined in the Maintenance Schedule.

Service Interruption Update: March 20, 2025

(March 20, 2025)

We experienced an unexpected service interruption today affecting all applications in our US Production environment. Services were unavailable from 7:32am to 8:52am Central time (approximately 80 minutes).

Our monitoring systems alerted us immediately, and our technical team worked closely with our hosting provider to identify and resolve the issue. Services have been fully restored and are operating normally.

What Happened?

Our preliminary investigation indicates this outage stemmed from unexpected complications during scheduled server maintenance that was previously announced (maintenance notice).

What's Next?

We are conducting a comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to:

1. Determine the exact sequence of events
2. Identify process improvements
3. Implement safeguards to prevent similar incidents

We understand the critical nature of our services to your operations and sincerely apologize for the disruption.
