No-downtime Production Updates (2.60.0) starting Thursday, October 10, 2024, and Maintenance

Platform Update

We are planning no-downtime updates to deliver Platform release 2.60.0 to the following areas:

• US Production: Thursday, October 10
• US Government Cloud Production: October 17
• Europe and Canada Production: October 23

You can review these release notes for an overview of the changes. 

Action

Please report any unexpected behavior that you notice in your US Config (Build, Test, and UAT) areas, which we plan to update with this new 2.60.0 version on Friday, October 4. (We will postpone the Production update if we're not confident in its quality.) This release will reach the European and Canadian Config areas on Wednesday, October 16.

Maintenance

• Routine maintenance to redundant US Production back-end storage systems on Tuesday, October 15.
• No-downtime software maintenance on US Production servers between Tuesday, October 15, and Thursday, October 17.
• No-downtime software maintenance on European and Canadian servers as outlined in the Maintenance Schedule.

US Production slowness / issues today (October 17, 2024)

Today we experienced a slowdown and a few related issues in our US Hosted Production environment. Starting last night (Oct. 16), there were some delays in updated or changed data showing up in search results, which may have shown up as dashboards or other reports taking longer to reflect new data than normal. Then, users may have experienced intermittent slowness and/or errors between 10:15am-10:40am CT. Both of these issues were fully resolved as of 10:45am CT and appear to be caused by an unexpected impact of part of the software maintenance completed yesterday on US Production servers we previously announced.  

We sincerely apologize for the slowness and impacts to operations earlier today. We are still investigating, but with the actions taken today, we do not expect a recurrence of this issue, and we will do everything we can to prevent a similar issue in the future.

No-downtime Production Updates (2.60.1) starting Thursday, October 31, 2024, and Maintenance

We are planning no-downtime updates to deliver Platform release 2.60.1 to the following areas:

• US Production: Thursday, October 31
• US Government Cloud Production: November 7
• Europe and Canada Production: November 13

Action

Please report any unexpected behavior that you notice in your US Config (Build, Test, and UAT) areas, which we plan to update with this new 2.60.1 version on Friday, October 25. (We will postpone the Production update if we're not confident in its quality.) This release will reach the European and Canadian Config areas on Wednesday, November 6.

Maintenance

• On Tuesday, October 29, we will be performing software maintenance to the US & EU production SFTP servers. There will be a brief, less than 5-minute SFTP outage when there is low activity for this maintenance, sometime between 4-5pm CT for EU Servers and between 6-7pm CT for US servers. Any transfers attempted during this brief outage window should be automatically retried.
• No-downtime software maintenance on US Production servers between Tuesday, November 19, and Thursday, November 21.
• No-downtime software maintenance on European and Canadian servers as outlined in the Maintenance Schedule.
