Navigating the mobile application

No special access or permissions are required.
The mobile application is designed to be intuitive and efficient, particularly for users who depend on it to perform tasks swiftly and accurately. When essential information is readily accessible, such as reporting forms, assignments, or reference materials, a mobile device can significantly reduce frustration, save time, and enhance productivity.
This article breaks down each area of the app to help you find your way around it easily.
1. Home screen
The Home screen gives you access to:
- Header - Allows you to access the navigation menu, search, or help
- Recent items - Displays records accessed on this device
- Frequently used forms - Displays commonly used mobile forms or checklists
Below the line are different mobile categories such as mobile forms, checklists, work packages, observations, ad-hoc lists, etc.
2. Navigation menu
The Navigation menu gives you access to:
- Profile information - Gives you the option to update your user info
- Refresh - Triggers a manual sync of the application with the server
- Messages - Provides access to in-app messages and notifications sent to you by the system or administrators
- References - Contains important read-only documents and reference materials you may need while completing your tasks or procedures
- History - Displays records from the device that have been submitted and synchronized, are pending and need to sync, and errors that have some data mismatched or are unable to sync
- Help - Redirects you to the Help centre
- Settings - Allows you to manage key configuration preferences:
- Categories - Mobile forms and checklists
- Connections - Subscriber area (UAT, Test, or Production)
- Notifications - Notification settings
- Support - Feedback and reload data cache
- Legal documentation - Documents such as our Privacy Policy
- Take A Tour - Takes you through a guided walkthrough of the app
- Enroll A Colleague - Allows you to enroll colleagues using a QR code
3. Quick Access menu
The Quick Access menu gives you access to the following options:
- Category - Category of the form or checklist
- Create new - Function options for the mobile function for the selected category
- Assignments - Records for the mobile function
