This patch release focuses on UI framework improvements and extending Mazlan AI capabilities into the field, improving the experience for EHS workers who need hands-free, voice-enabled access to safety guidance. It also delivers a beta preview of the redesigned Navigation Rail, giving teams early visibility into the upcoming platform redesign so they can adapt workflows ahead of the general rollout.
Alongside these new capabilities, this release resolves nine targeted bug fixes across Miramar UI, Mazlan AI, and administrator workflows - including dashboard sharing, responsive navigation, and a data display rounding issue affecting due-date tracking for compliance records.
Previewing the navigation redesign
- Navigation rail menu icon style and positioning have been standardized for design consistency, and the page title has been repositioned beneath the breadcrumb to improve visibility.
- To access the new left-side Navigation Rail ahead of the general release:
- Go to your Profile screen.
- Enable the Beta flag.
Using voice input and output for Mazlan EHS agents
- Mazlan EHS agents now accept spoken queries and reply with synthesized voice output - enabling hands-free safety guidance in field and operational environments.
- Voice-enabled AI and early access to navigation improvements directly reduce friction for frontline EHS workers - aligned with the industry-wide shift toward mobile-first, hands-free safety tooling highlighted in the Verdantix 2025 EHS Software report.
- To use voice input and output:
- Open a Mazlan EHS agent session.
- Tap the microphone icon.
- Grant microphone permissions if prompted.
- Voice output plays automatically.
Note: Voice output is not yet supported on Firefox. Use Chrome or Edge. Fix targeted for version 2.64.2.
Understanding the significant UI framework update
- A significant UI framework update has been completed that should not affect the end-user experience, but may impact automated testing frameworks.
- This reduces long-term platform risk, improves performance and development velocity, and establishes a scalable foundation for future product growth. Faster rendering and more efficient reactivity lead to smoother user interactions, especially in complex or data-heavy screens.
Note: Contact your Customer Success Manager for more information about potential impacts to automated testing frameworks.
Understanding module synchronization improvements for Monaco AI
- The sync pipeline now handles edge cases that previously caused failures or left module state inconsistent, resulting in faster, more reliable module delivery for organizations running custom Monaco AI configurations.
Understanding security hardening across back-end components
- Patched dependencies, tightened access controls, and updated security configurations across back-end services to reduce attack surface and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Security hardening directly supports FedRAMP-regulated customers' compliance obligations.
Version 2.64.1 fixes
Shared dashboards disappearing for the sharing user
- Dashboards shared with others were wrongly removed from the sharer’s list immediately after sharing.
"New Dashboard" indicator showing incorrectly on login
- Creators saw a "New Dashboard" alert at every login, even when no new dashboards were shared.
Icons clipped in collapsed side navigation panel
- Navigation icons were partially cut off due to incorrect overflow settings.
Incorrect styling on "Disable Editing" and "Disable Record Locator" buttons
- CSS conflicts caused these buttons to display wrong text and background colours.
Side menu showing inaccessible links on small mobile screens
- On small devices (e.g., iPad), the menu showed navigation links beyond the user’s permissions.
"Days Until Due" showing blank instead of "1" for next-day records (Compliance impact):
- A rounding error made the Days Until Due column blank for records due the next day, affecting compliance tracking.
Mazlan agent not refreshing when switching modules
- The agent kept old context after module changes, causing irrelevant responses.
Reports tab timing out during user reassignment
- The Reports tab timed out on accounts with many saved searches, blocking reassignment.
BI can now be enabled for all localized modules
- A validation error previously blocked BI enablement for translated modules; this is now fixed.
