March 21, 2019 Update (2.42.5)
- Resolved a few remaining issues with the latest version of the underlying DevonWay BI software before releasing it to a wider audience. (We've been testing it for several months on our internal TrakWay subscriber.)
- Modified search-filter popups to automatically run a search when you select a value, just like it did before the February 21 update.
- Improved performance of clicking [Save], [Submit], and [Complete] by returning control to the user sooner than we previously did, running some actions in the background.
February 21, 2019 Update (2.42.4)
- Added and updated several shortcut keys to improve system accessibility. Also pressing the Tab key more reliably across and within items displayed on screen.
- Provided support for special-case "Attachment: FormFactory" grids, which contain links to the mobile forms authoring tool, Form Factory, where users can create or edit attached mobile forms.
- Made additional enhancements to standard assignment email notifications (in response to feedback from internal testing) in preparation to release publicly.
- Further improved Data Import error handling.
- Made a change to ensure that searches work as expected on the Search Logs admin screen.
- Implemented some minor Module Builder enhancements, including a new Developer Notes section on the main screen and a more prominent display of revision notes.
- Plus several other small changes aimed at improving system reliability.
February 7, 2019 Update
- Rolled back a change we released on January 31 that adjusted the search term (to enhance relevancy matching) when searching across all modules from the Dashboard toolbar. We suspect this change is responsible for the slow search performance we experienced periodically over the last few days.
- Enabled some additional logging to better identify the occurrence of slow searches.
- Fixed a condition to ensure that My Assignments grids run without error when defined to both group by and sort by the same field.
- Rolled back the change we introduced on January 31 that removed the 'Effective to' field from the Alternates grids. Restored expired Alternate data that had been removed.
February 4, 2019 Update
- Made changes so users can reliably sort My Assignments grids by the 'Assigned To' column.
- Fixed a condition to ensure that administrators can consistently add new reporting authorities.
January 31, 2019 Update (2.42.3)
- Further enhanced the format of standard assignment email notifications (in response to feedback from internal testing) in preparation to release publicly.
- Created a new system-generated weekly email that contains a list of assignments that are either overdue or coming due in the next 7 days. This new email is disabled by default for now.
- Built support for a new feature that lets module developers configure modules to automatically copy attachments from selected reference objects.
- Cleaned up some conditions where we weren't correctly respecting the "Search for objects they didn't work on" role privilege.
- Made the application of display attributes (like modifiability) more consistent when editing grid-mode search results.
- Restored expected behavior while sorting in My Assignments or All Items grid displays.
- Improved search accurracy when searching attachments.
- Made date handling better in RESTConnect for child-level date fields.
- Added safeguards to Data Import to better handle specific error conditions, like duplicate-key alerts.
- Enhanced the Single Sign-On (SSO) login process to allow for Reporting Authority selection if specified.
- [Added February 7, 2019] Removed the 'Effective to' field on the Alternates grids on admin screens (like My Profile) to avoid expiration of Alternate assignments.
- Implemented a new, specialized version of the standard Attachments grid that accesses the mobile forms authoring tool, Form Factory.
- Made several reliability improvements, including:
- Added logic to more gracefully handle upgrades to internal databases.
- Provided support for better (row-version) concurrency control.
- Cleaned up some anomalies with displaying field attributes on child-level radio groups.
- Resolved many behind-the-scenes exception cases to proactively avoid potentially larger issues.
- Fixed a handful of nagging issues with Module Builder.
- Plus many other small but important changes.
December 13, 2018 Update (2.42.2)
- Added an option to synchronously perform search-index updates when those updates are triggered by RESTConnect requests.
- Implemented additional precautions to prevent the conditions that led to the unexpected downtime on November 5.
- Made the [Export] menu button, which contains [Export to Excel], [Export to PDF], and [Export to Zip] actions, avaialable for search results displayed in List mode (like Grid mode).
- Modified search-notification email attachments to be consistently accurate when filtered on the "Assigned to" field.
- Made several error messages clearer.
- Fixed keyboard shortcut keys (Ctrl+, for previous and Ctrl+. for next) to successfully navigate from one object to another after clicking the Details link on search results.
- Disabled [Done] on the Upload file popup to prevent confusion while uploading documents to work packages.

Trending Improvements:
- Added more trend rules to cover the inverse (less than or equal to) of a few conditions.
- Enhanced Trending charts to include standard deviation lines (representing 1, 2, and 3 times the standard deviation).
- Made scroll bars available on Trending charts as needed.

December 3, 2018 Update (2.42.1a)
- Made a change to no longer return extra fields in RESTConnect search-request responses.
- Eliminated the possibility of database-update collisions when using the mobile app to submit new items that contain pictures or other file attachments.
November 15, 2018 Update (2.42.1)
- Enhanced the format of standard assignment email notifications, which we'll test internally before releasing publicly.
- Made attachment file details visible when hovering over thumbnail images.
- Adjusted logic and added logging in response to recent Production issues.
- Resolved an issue with triggering screen refreshes when picklist-field values change.
- Made additional improvements to Form Factory, the mobile forms authoring tool.

October 25, 2018 Update (2.42)
- Improved performance of viewing and printing attachments by avoiding redundant PDF conversions.
- Revised the server-side process that generates PDFs for mobile-work-package documents to support storing multiple document versions.
- Added support for building generic searches with person-module field values of "Me" or "My Alternates." With these options, an administrator can create (and then share) a single search that varies for each signed-on user.
- Resolved several issues related to using the latest version of the underlying DevonWay BI software, which we're currently testing internally before we release it publicly.
- Made additional improvements to Form Factory, the mobile forms authoring tool.
- Cleaned up more behind-the-scenes issues to remove clutter from log files and to avoid using resources unnecessarily.
- Plus many other small but important changes.
