Customizing the Create New menu

Overview
When users select the Create New button, a menu displays available Create New shortcuts. Administrators control which shortcuts appear in the menu and can organize them into groups based on common tasks or usage.
Customizing the Create New menu
To create a Create New menu:
- From Administrative Area > Tools > Components, select the "Create New" Buttons tab.
- Click Add Create New Menu.
- Enter a Group Name. (A Create New Menu can contain up to 10 groups.)
- Select the required items from the Available Items list.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed to add additional groups and Create New buttons.
- If required, adjust the display order by dragging and dropping items in the preview window or the selected items list.
- Click Save
Create New buttons will not be visible until users log out of the site and back in.
In addition to creating a Create New Menu, you can add a Create New shortcut to a toolbar button or configure the shortcut as a model template, which automatically populates suggested field values when a user opens a form before the form creates a new object.

All users can see Create New buttons
All users can see Create New buttons. However, only users with the appropriate role and reporting authority can create objects.
When a user selects a Create New button, the system opens a new object rather than an existing object. Users without the required permissions will see a message informing them that access is restricted.
Test in UAT first
