Training sessions for system administrators and advanced users seeking to improve user engagement are available in small group formats. These in-person sessions facilitate active participation and direct interaction through face-to-face discussions. Overview
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Monday the 18th, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm the 19th and 20th
Admins, new and experienced, will benefit from this course. In addition to covering administrative tasks, this course will also cover application development concepts, basic module construction, requirements gathering, testing techniques, and SQA principles - all so that you can better manage your organization's applications.

Prerequisites
Completion of all 1000 level courses is recommended. Attendees should be familiar with their current Ideagen solution and understand the business processes for the applications they are managing.
Objectives
- Navigate the platform and make simple changes to existing modules
- Use Area, Data and Analysis, and Module development tools
- Use administrator functions
- Define application requirements
- Follow Ideagen's SQA process
- Define and execute test scripts
- Define fields, behaviors, screen layout, workflow, and parent child relationships
- Add button labels, instruction text, empty value text, hover help, and custom error messages
- Enable fields to be used in search and reporting
- Use support resources (e.g., Help documentation, support requests, etc.)

- 2020 - Requirements Gathering
- 3010, 3011 - Module Builder I and II
- 3020, 3021 - Module Builder: No-Coding Required Changes I and II
Additional Information
For Legacy support agreement (Gold, Platinum, and Diamond) customers registration cost is free in lieu of a site visit (up to two attendees). For Silver Support customers: registration cost is free in lieu of four Support Requests, per attendee (four months)

Overview
This advanced course offers thorough instruction on the development of solutions and applications utilizing the Module Builder functionality within the Ideagen platform.
Prerequisites
This is a technically advanced course. While formal programming experience is not mandatory, participants should meet the following requirements:
- Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), including tables, views, and join operations
- Successful completion of all 1000 and 2000 level courses in the Ideagen curriculum
- Organization must maintain an active Gold Level support plan to ensure access to technical assistance, implementation guidance, and ongoing troubleshooting support
- To develop custom modules users must have a named module developer license
Prior to enrollment, please ensure all prerequisites are satisfied to maximize the educational value of this course.
Objectives
Open successful completion of this course attendees will:
- Demonstrate understanding of relational database concepts including tables, views, column types, and joins and how the object tables relate to module levels and fields.
- Identify the elements of a module and its interaction with the platform.
- Model the SQA process and appropriate documentation procedures.
- Develop implementation requirements based on customer needs and configuration best practices.
- Describe *module development tools such as import, export, module tools, cross-module functions, and module builder.
- Create new modules from scratch and templates.
- Build header fields and child levels/fields in a module.
- Define field, level, and module properties and conditional behaviors.
- Create efficient, validated, and documented DXL.
- Design workflow including steps, tasks, skip logic, and rollback restrictions.
- Apply dirty objects and scheduled batch processing.
- Apply user experience best practices such as screen organization, help text, on-screen instruction, and search/reporting features.
- Implement configuration design patterns and best practices.
- Convert modules to and implement new features of the Miramar user interface.
- Explore platform tools such as data import and query builder.
- Solve configuration issues by troubleshooting, resolution, testing, and documentation.
- Apply security mechanisms such as reporting authorities, roles, record access control, and assignees.
- Design, build, test, and deploy object prints and business intelligence reports.
- Describe interactions with external systems through REST API interfaces.
- Implement advanced features such as internationalization and Artificial Intelligence support.
Assessment
At the conclusion of the course, participants will complete two distinct assessment components:
- Written assessment: A multiple-choice examination administered during the class session
- Practical assessment: A hands-on exercise to be completed within three weeks of course completion
Participants must achieve a minimum score of 90% or higher by the second attempt to successfully complete the certification requirements.
